CAJMI and its team take you to the south of France in Marseille and present you one of its main products: Marseille soap. It has been produced in Marseille since the dawn of time.
Our team is interested in one of the oldest soap factories in Marseille "Le Serail", based in the Phocaean city. Vincent BOETTO created the soap factory "Le Sérail" in 1949, in order to perpetuate the know-how and the tradition of the real Marseille soap.
The little story of Marseille soap is the following: Mr BOETTO took over a farm located in the city and developed his activity. Today, it is his son, Daniel, who has taken over and is running the company since 2009. He knew how to preserve the different steps of the traditional manufacturing of Marseille soap, which allowed him to obtain the label "Entreprise du Patrimoine vivant" awarded by the CCI of Marseille.
